About the Speaker
Professor Jan  Blomgren is a former Professor of Applied Nuclear Physics with extensive experience spanning both academia and industry. He has made significant contributions to public understanding and education on the challenges and opportunities within energy supply.

Through his books, lectures, and active participation in public debates, he has highlighted the critical function of the energy system and the vulnerabilities he argues have undermined Sweden’s energy security. He warns of the risks associated with replacing stable, dispatchable electricity production with intermittent sources.

Today, Jan Blomgren runs his own consulting firm, INBEx, providing expert advice, training, and strategic consultation on nuclear-energy and energy-policy matters in Sweden and internationally. In recent years, he has focused on executive-level training and leadership development within the energy sector.
