Presentation title:
The Steel Industry and the Climate Transition – Where Are We Heading?
Presentation content
In 2024, Anders Werme gave a lecture for SBF under a similar title. Since then, important developments have taken place in the global steel industry. In this presentation, Anders will discuss what has happened in the steel world during this time and which measures and solutions are currently being communicated by the global iron and steel industry to meet climate targets in their respective regions and countries.
He will also explore how today’s communication differs from that of a few years ago. Have certain development paths become clearer, while others have been put on hold? In short: Where are we heading?
